Where to find the best coffee experience in Naga City
What defines the best coffee experience? It's about enjoying great tasting coffee and food at a place with cozy ambiance, attentive staff at an affordable price..
Usually Starbucks come to mind when we talk about having the best coffee experience but it is difficult to find a branch nowadays without the buzz of people. If your goal is to find a quiet spot to work on a project while sipping a good cup of coffee or to enjoy a few minutes to yourself before you start your day at work, there are options other than Starbucks that are available for you in Naga City.
Last June, my family and I stayed in Naga City for a couple of days. Our weekend adventure turned out great and the visit to one of the coffee shops was but one of our good experiences. My cousin and I wanted to find a place where we could catch up but Starbucks was jam packed and so we opted to check out Coffee Table instead.
Coffee Table can be found just along Magsaysay road. The place has a cozy ambiance. Glancing at the menu, apart from the variety of coffee drinks (iced, expresso, specials, shakes), there are all sorts of crepes, pasta, sandwiches, breakfast platters (pancake, french toast etc) available. We ordered Cookies and Cream recipe, Irish Coffee Martini and Crepedilla. Each costs no more than P200 pesos.
The Cookies and Cream crepe was gigantic! I did not expect a crepe to come in this size. It's cookies and cream ice cream cleverly wrapped inside a crepe. I couldn't figure out how they did it!
This Crepedilla was well prepared, looked appetizing and tasted heavenly! It came along with 3 sets of dips to choose from. The Irish Coffee martini had a subtle hint of alcohol but the coffee balanced the overall favor.
There weren't a lot of people at 10pm in the evening and so except for a few people at the veranda, we had the place to ourselves.

The staff were courteous and polite. They were giving us curious glances as we laugh our heads off when we noticed that we ordered too much and half way through the meal forcing ourselves to finish eating what we could. We decided to go home after an hour and still had some Crepedilla for take out. It was the best night ever and thanks to Coffee Table, we had the perfect spot to catch up! I will definitely not hesitate to go back here again! :)
